An Introduction

Hello, your probably wondering who I am and why I made this Substack. You can easily ignore it and just go on about your day. But let me persuade you if you permit me. Many people come to Substack to either A) make some money, B) find subscribers for their newsletters, or C) create meaningful content that inspires the mind. I am D) All of the above. In my Substack I will be engaging and writing about nonfiction essays that will dive into an eclectic of topics. Whether it be philosophy, pop culture, or politics. I will be on the beat for interesting stories. I will be either ranting about what I feel or trying to convince you to see my perspective. I am open to criticism and editorial advice when needed.

I only ask for comments that are constructive to my work so that way I may grow as a writer and learn how to better understand how to better engage with not only my audience but myself as well. I believe that for a writer to grow into their work, they must understand what they are writing about and what they know. I know I’m not some genius scholar with mastery over the mystic works of literature. I know that. I am student who is wanting to learn more about the rich inner workings of writing and philosophy while committed to the ideals of equality, dialogue, and transparency. I hope that you’ll permit me to write about what I like, what I dislike, and what I believe in.

I am someone who wants to not only grow as a writer, but as a student who sees the world with curiosity and embarks on meaningful discussions on topics that I hope will make you interested or just help you past the time. Either one works. But I ask only to respect others and respect my process as writing can take time. So my posts and essays will be irregular. I hope that you enjoy my essays and enjoy the writing that I will create not only for you, but for myself as well. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
